An anime adaptation of JCStaff was aired from April to September 2015 to air a second season entitled Food Wars! The second season airing from July to September 2016. The first show for the 3rd season dubbed Food Wars! The third season ran from October to December 2017. The second part aired from April to June 2018. The fourth season was titled Food Wars! The fourth season, which airs from October through December 2019. Fifth and last season named Food Wars! Food Wars! Fifth Plate aired from April to September 2020. So, now many fans wondering when the Food Wars season 6 will come out?
Food Wars Season 6 Release Date
While we would be eager to see another season of Food Wars, it seems unlikely that the animated series to be back for the season 6 finale. But, we can’t be sure unless we get news from trustable source.
Just after the end of season 4, The renewal announcement to Food Wars season 5 came. But, the season 5 premiere is also the last season of the series.
Season 5 (Shokugeki no Soma: The Fifth Plate) concluded on the 25th of September, 2020 and left the fans empathetic.
However, they shouldn’t lose their hope as there are options for the show to be revived with the help of OVA’s Prequel series or even a film.
We have already five OVA episodes, two episodes from 2016, two episodes in 2017 and the final episode of 2018.

If the Showrunner chooses to produce the next season of Food Wars, it will likely include more than 13 episodes since the previous seasons also had 13 episodes. Therefore, we should expect at least 13 episodes in the coming Season.

Teenager Soma Yukihira wants to become the head chef of his father Joichiro’s family restaurant “Yukihira’s Restaurant” and be able to match his father’s culinary talents; however, Joichiro finds a new job which will require him to travel around all over the world before closing his business. Joichiro must take Soma into his Totsuki Saryo Culinary Institute, an elite culinary institute where pupils compete for a spot in culinary contests known as Shokugeki.
He gets a spot for himself in the school, despite the opposition of Erina Nakiri, the talented daughter of the dean of the college. Soma goes towards the Polaris dorm, where he interacts with other hopeful chefs, such as Megumi Tadokoro. The story follows his journey when he interacts with his fellow students and takes on Totsuki’s students and other shokugeki competitors. The lessons he has acquired
Soma and the other freshmen, are part of an annual culinary camp assessed by the school’s alumni, who make up about three-quarters of students who drop out. Soma competes with the Fall Classic, a competition that sees the best 60 freshmen divided into eight students competing in the sole elimination tournament, called the Fall Picks.
Freshmen also take part in week-long internships with local restaurants, along with a huge all-school Moon Festival. At the Festival of the Moon, Erina’s father, Azami, who is the school’s administrator, takes over the school. Soma and Erina start a rebellion to challenge the established. Members of the Council are part of the rebel group, and, with the help of Joichiro and Gin, the rebels face Azami’s “Central” organization within the Cousin Regiment (Team Shokugeki).
Then, Soma and the other members begin the second season. Many Fall Classic members were promoted to the council, replacing third-year graduates. Their first job is their involvement with “dark chefs”, which are people who work in criminal organizations and other VIPs. A specific group, Les Cuisiniers Noirs, is run by Joichiro Asahi, a former protege of Saiba who defeated the previous.
Asahi gets into Totsuki and abducts Erina out of her Academy with the intent of getting married to her. To cure Erina, the trio comprising Soma, Megumi and Takumi take part at the BLUE cooking competition organized by the World Gourmet Organization under the direction of the school’s Principal Mana Nakiri, the mother of Erina. The trio battle the Dark Chefs, and Soma wins against Asahi. The manga closes by having Soma and Erina fighting each other in the final game.
In the “Dessert,” the sequel “Dessert” following an incident in BLUE, Soma took an unannounced leave of absence prior to beginning her third year of exams. In this course, Erina and Hisako ask Joichiro about his relationship with Tamako as Mana and Azami find out that Asahi has been Azami’s birth son and Erina’s half-brother.
