Michael was born in the poorest slums of Memphis. His parent’s name was Michael Jerome Williams (father) and Denise Ocher (mother). He is one of the 12 children. His father was killed in prison when Michael was in senior high school, and his mother was a complete drug addict. It was challenging to raise 12 children in such a condition.
